Cantalloc, Tellar & Paredores

The Cantalloc aqueducts are located 4 km north of the city of Nazca. They were built by the Nazca culture. More than 40 aqueducts were built, which were used all year round. There are other aqueducts in different parts of the city. The aqueducts ensured the supply of water to the city of Nazca and the surrounding fields, allowing the cultivation of cotton, beans, potatoes, etc. in an arid region.

We will visit a sector known as the needles, where it is possible to observe a huge trapezoid from the top of a little hill. Later on, we will see the Inca ruins call Paredones, which was built long ago when the Incas expanded their empire on the Nazca Valley.
